John David Coles / President
John Coles is an award-winning director and producer. He was nominated for an Emmy and a PGA award for his work as an Executive Producer and director on the Netflix phenomenon HOUSE OF CARDS. His feature directorial debut, SIGNS OF LIFE, won the International Critics Prize at Deauville. Other long form credits include RISING SON with Matt Damon and Brian Dennehy, and DARROW with Kevin Spacey.
His recent directing credits include the Disney+ series THE RIGHT STUFF, the Emmy Award-winning HOMELAND, the Epix original series BERLIN STATION, 11/22/63 for Hulu, and USA’s hit drama THE SINNER. Other credits include SEX AND THE CITY, WEST WING, DAMAGES and JUSTIFIED.
Talking Wall Pictures focuses on the development of cutting-edge feature and television projects. Productions include SONGS IN ORDINARY TIME, based on the Oprah Book Club pick and starring Sissy Spacek and Beau Bridges, and the drama series CRA$H AND BURN. Talking Wall has developed numerous projects with HBO, CBS, New Line, IFC, Bravo and worked with distinguished writers including Academy Award nominated Mike Weller (HAIR), Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright (QUILLS), Kate Robin (SIX FEET UNDER), Ann Peacock (NIGHTS IN RODANTHE), and David O’Leary (PROJECT BLUE BOOK).

Brit Bucklee / Development Executive
Brit Bucklee joined Talking Wall in March 2020, starting the same day New York entered pandemic lockdowns. Prior to TWP, Brit worked in production and development at FilmNation Entertainment in Los Angeles on titles such as Emerald Fennell’s Academy Award-winning PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN, Benedict Cumberbatch-starrer THE COURIER, HBO’s Emmy Award-winning miniseries I KNOW THIS MUCH IS TRUE, and Amazon’s LATE NIGHT, which set that year’s record for highest domestic distribution sale at Sundance.
He began his career in WME’s Motion Picture Literary department after graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
