OUR MISSION

Talking Wall Pictures develops films that are commercial, probing, and passionate.

We develop entertaining stories that explore humanistic themes, a kind of “return to classicism,” a return to the impulses that led to the most significant mainstream films in the American canon.

We offer something unique to the development process and to the writer, focusing on a small slate of projects, which we develop with passion and care. Because of our independence, Talking Wall has the flexibility to support writers and provide the freedom they need to explore personal and complex material in an incubator-like setting. 

Our writing contacts range from all the major agencies to off-Broadway and regional theaters. A special area of expertise is the New York theater and literary world – we have been able to comb through books and plays, find extraordinary material and writers, and then re-fashion that material into mainstream movies.  What we aim for is the combination of passionate writing in a commercial and entertaining context.
